Children's Ministries
Sunday School Teachers and Assistants  to prepare and teach children's classes on Sunday mornings.
Kids Klub Helpers assist with the Sunday evening programming for children up  to the fourth grade.
Planet 56 Volunteers help with the Sunday evening programming for 5th and 6th grade students.
Children's Church Workers assist with "children's church" which takes place during the 11:00 am worship service
Nursery and 2's and 3's workers assist one Sunday each month in the nursery or with the 2 and 3 year-old children.
Youth Ministries
Youth Volunteers serve in a variety of capacities during Sunday evenings at the Filling Station.
Teachers
Adult Sunday School Teachers - teach weekly, usually for one semester at a time.
His Place Ministries
Open Rec. Basketball Leader MWF ~ 11:30 - 1:00 PM. Attend most sessions, greet, encourage, play, build relationships, invite others, and keep the atmosphere fun!
His Kids Volunteers Wednesdays - after school - 3:00 to 5:00pm. Hang out with kids, help with crafts, sing along, play games, participate in the Bible lesson, have fun, build relationships, love with the love of Jesus!
Photographer. Take pictures and videos of different events throughout the year.
Aerobics Class Greeters. Welcome, meet and greet students as they enter the gym. Help them get acquainted with others, answer questions, build relationships - help create a loving, warm atmosphere.
Summer Camp Volunteers. Hang out with kids; help teach a sport or creative activity.
Bus/Van Drivers for His Kids. We need drivers, some with CDL's, to pick up kids from the elementary schools in Alma and drive them to His Place for His Kids program. Time frame 3 to 3:30pm on Wednesdays. Drivers will not be required to stay to help with the program.
Visitation
Follow Up Visitors deliver cookies to first-time visitors to our congregation.
Members of the Visitation Team visit persons in the hospital, the elderly and shut-ins.
Hospitality
Cooks. Seeking persons who love to cook!! Our church's hospitality team takes care of funeral dinners and various other church fellowship events.
Greeters adn Welcome Center Volunteers provide a warm welcome to first-time visitors and long-time worshippers to our Sunday morning worship services. Volunteers are asked to serve prior to the 8:30 or 11:00 service approximately one Sunday per month.
Bakers to make cookies for our first-time visitors.
Transportation
Bus or Van Drivers who are available to transport people to and from worship services. (A CDL license is required to drive the church bus.)
Drivers for Special Events
Marriage Ministry
The Marriage Ministry Team needs volunteers who will give approximately five hours each month to oversee a comprehensive marriage ministry aimed at strengthening the marriage of our congregation and community. The group meets monthly.
The Marriage Ministry Administrator volunteers approximately five hours each week to organize the work of the marriage ministry.
Missions
Short Term Missions Trips take members of our congregations around the globe to join our lives to God's love for the world.
Members of the Missions Ministry Team work to coordinate our support of organizations and misssionaries with whom our congregation partners to spread the news about the love of God. The Missions Team meets monthly and coordinates special events.
Small Group Ministry
Small Group Leaders are trained to design and launch a small group that connects people around a shared purpose.
Members of the Small Group Leadership Team meet monthly and connect with small group leaders through the month to provide direction, support and accountability to the small group system.
Worship Ministries
Worship Choir. Seeking persons for our Worship Choir who love to sing!!! We're looking for persons who want to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Requirements are: Dedicated follower of Jesus Christ; Committed worshiper of God; Ability to sing and match pitch; the availability to be in worship services, special events and rehearsals. The choir rehearses every Wednesday night at 6:30pm.
Instrumentalists If you play a stringed, woodwind, brass or percussion instrument and have at least two years of playing experience, then we need you in our church's worship orchestra. This group of musicians plays approximately every three weeks (Sept. - May) and provides dynamic leadership in our worship services.
Audio/Media Technicians wanted. We are in need of individuals to assist in our church's audio/visual ministries. Both those who are experienced and those who are willing to be trained welcome.
Multi-Media Designers. The worship ministry is looking for persons who would be willing to look for digital images (photos and videos) that will enhance our congregations worship. If you enjoy "surfing the web" or taking digital photos and you would like to use those skills in the service of worship, this may be just the spot for you!
Readers. Pastor Steve would like to identify some folks who love to read, and who would be willing to help with sermon preperation. Here's how it works. Pastor Steve would email to you a  list of scripture passages and topics he will be speaking about. When, in the course of your normal reading, you find illustrations, examples or quotes that "connect" with the scripture passages and topics, you would email them back to him. This is a great way to make your reading hobby a blessing to the church.
The Drama Ministry is always looking for actors and actresses who are willing to participate in sketches during the Sunday worship services.
Ushers extend a strong welcome to those attending our worship services. Ushers help people find a place to be seated, take up the offering and assist any persons who have special needs.
Special Helps
Artists who can help with signs, banners or any number of artistic possibilities.
Special Events Photographer
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are trained and supervised lay caregivers who provide one-to-one Christian care for hurting people.
Prayer
Prayer Chain Members promise to pray for special needs as they arise.
