Testimony:
I believe that my purpose in life is to glorify God in all that I do
and say. I grew up hearing that message in our Christian home and gave
my life to Jesus in Elementary Sunday School. When I rededicated my
life to the Lord at Anderson College in 1973, I offered my goal of
teaching health, physical education and recreation to God. I didn't
know exactly how I would serve Him through that profession but I wanted
to be ready for any job or role. As a wife, mother, friend, and
administrator, God has shown me that building relationships with others
is one of the best ways to share God's love and lead kids and adults on
their journey to Christ.
I am grateful for the many opportunities God has given me through His
Place to meet people of all ages and walks of life. As I help others to
grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually I have grown to depend on
the teaching of God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am so
thankful for our church family that encourages and supports this
outreach ministry. It is a team effort with many wonderful volunteers.
I am truly privileged and honored to be a part of it all. Praise God
for this challenging, rewarding and fun place to be!
